Introducing Well + Good
Hello friends!
A very merry Christmas to you and your families!
This is a different sort of blog post, and one that’s meant to reach you in a possibly vulnerable place.
What does your wellness look like? How is your body, and how is your soul?
This is the time of year when beautiful women like us begin to feel that itch to make a change. We want to be well, we want to be whole, but it all feels so overwhelming. What to do and what to avoid?
Elizabeth may have the answer for you. Recently, she finished the Revelation Wellness instructor training program to become a certified wellness coach. Revelation Wellness is a Christian organization dedicated to helping people get healthy and stay healthy—body, mind, and soul.
Elizabeth is excited to bring whole body wellness into our Take Up + Read membership in late winter. (If you’re not already a member, please consider becoming one now. There’s no commitment and lots to gain. You can read more about the membership here.) But for now, we’re going to take some time to warm-up before we tackle a full Wellness Revelation study.
Click here to read more about the 21-Day “Clean Hearting” Challenge, because God cares more about what’s in your heart than on your plate. This is a challenge to get better, to have your heart searched and ministered to by the One who knows you best and loves you most. It’s not too much to take on. It comes from a place of believing that more isn’t better. Better is better. Let’s get better together.
As we introduce a Well + Good component to your membership, we want to assure you that Take Up & Read isn’t going to become a weight loss movement. We believe there is much more to health and wellness than pursuing a number on a scale. As with everything we’ve pondered here, both on the blog and within the membership, we’re zeroing in on essential holiness. And we have our eyes on a singular goal: as we get healthy and whole, we will be fit for our purpose—to spread the love of God to the people in our homes, in our neighborhoods, and to the ends of the earth.
Bonus: The 21-Day Challenge doesn’t begin until January 10th, so there’s no rush after New Year. Enjoy Epiphany and the Baptism of the Lord!
But the name-your-price option ends at midnight on January 6th. After that , the cost to register for Clean Hearting is $29.
In addition to the content at the link above, the Take Up & Read membership will have
An orientation session the week before the Challenge begins (date and time TBA but keep your eyes on your inbox)
Weekly accountability sessions (These will not be replacing the regular Take Up & Read membership Bible studies; don’t worry we’ll finish Acts in January!)
Dedicated space to check in with each other’s progress on our discussion board
If you have any questions, be sure to keep your eyes on your inbox for the time and date of the orientation.
And Merry Christmas!
