Ponder this:

God is the one who pulls people close to Himself, and He is the Savior and Redeemer. But He allows us the joy of working for the kingdom. Today’s reading from Isaiah very deliberately reminds us that confession comes before commission. Before the Lord asks who will go and before the people ask to be recognized and sent, guilt is taken away and sin is forgiven.

Examine your conscience. Get to confession.
