And I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.

Out there—in the secular world—as the season whips itself into a frenzy, there is the temptation to compete and compare. And there is the temptation to feel judged by other people, and to think we fall short.
Just so much pressure.
Step away from that temptation. No one but God is fit to open the important scroll about God’s righteous judgment. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that power can be given to anyone else. Now, put yourself in the presence of God and see how He looks on you with mercy and with love. Put it in writing. Read as necessary to maintain your peace.
